Comparisons
Compared honestly, including the parts we lose.
Six side-by-side comparisons for agencies choosing where their client reporting lives. Every price and feature is cited, every source is dated, and each page says plainly who should stay where they are.

The shortlist
The tools an agency actually chooses between
Ordered by how often they come up in the conversation, not by how easy they are to argue with.
- Reports vs Data StudioFree dashboard builder — called Looker Studio until April 2026Google renamed it back to Data Studio in April 2026. Still free, still everywhere, and still carrying a watermark you are not allowed to remove. The short answerFree is a real advantage and it stays one. What free cannot buy is a report with your name on it instead of Google's.
- Reports vs AgencyAnalyticsAgency client reportingThe best-known per-client reporting platform for agencies. One rate, white label included, and the largest connector catalogue in the set.The short answerCheaper than us per client, and we will say so first. It turns on what the metered add-ons cost once SEO is in the report.
- Reports vs DashThisAgency client reportingStraightforward dashboard reporting priced by how many dashboards you keep, with white label included at every tier. The short answerCheap, predictable, and white-labelled out of the box. Thinner on the local-services stack and on anything the report has to predict.
- Reports vs SwydoAgency client reportingThe cheapest credible entry point in the category: one flat fee, unlimited clients, priced by connected data source. The short answerGenuinely good value at ten clients on two platforms. The per-source unit is what to watch as the client list grows.
- Reports vs DataboxMetrics and KPI trackingA metrics and goal-tracking product with a free tier and a separate agency price list, aimed as much at in-house teams as at agencies. The short answerStrong at tracking a company's own KPIs, and the only one here with real forecasting. White label is where the bill turns.
- Reports vs Spreadsheets and slidesManual reportingStill the most common reporting stack in the industry: exports, a spreadsheet, and a deck rebuilt every month. The short answerNothing beats it for control. It costs you the one thing an agency cannot buy more of, which is senior time.
How these pages are written
A comparison is only worth reading if it can be checked
We sell one of the tools on this page, and you should read everything here knowing that. These are the rules we hold ourselves to so the tables are worth your time anyway.
Every claim is sourced and dated
Each page carries a numbered source list with the URL and the day a human read it. Pricing pages change without notice, so you can see the age of a figure before you plan a budget on it.
They get the rows they win
Data Studio is free, and free is unbeatable. Databox has a free tier and a far larger catalogue. AgencyAnalytics has a native rank tracker where we only read the positions somebody else measured. Those rows are in the tables, on their side, because a comparison where one side sweeps every line is an advertisement wearing a table's clothes.
What we could not verify is left out
If a feature could not be confirmed from a vendor's own documentation, the row is written neutrally or removed. An unchecked claim in our favour would cost more than the row could ever win.
Found something out of date or plainly wrong? It is a bug in a page about accuracy, and we would rather hear it than keep it. Tell us.
Left out on purpose
Three tools we looked at and did not write up
They are real products with real customers. They are not what a five-to-fifty client US agency is realistically deciding between, and a page pretending otherwise would waste your afternoon.
- Whatagraph
- Publishes one entry price: €699 a month, billed annually, with thirty days' notice to cancel and payments non-refundable. Excellent output, but a nine-thousand-euro commitment is not a shortlist item for an agency that gains and loses clients monthly.
- Klipfolio
- $120 a month before any branding, and the white-label bundle is $299 a month on top of it. The company's newer product, PowerMetrics, is priced per seat and carries no agency framing at all.
- ReportGarden
- Still trading, and its rank tracking and client invoicing are genuinely useful. But its blog stopped in March 2025 and the site footer still reads 2025. We are not calling it abandoned — we are not putting it on a shortlist either.
What Reports is
Client reporting for agencies, priced per client report, with nothing held back for an upsell
A multi-tenant reporting platform that connects your clients' advertising, analytics, search and revenue accounts and puts them in a live report under your own brand. White label, your own domain, unlimited seats and the API are in the price rather than beside it.
15 client reports a month
$164.50
That is $10.97 a client with everything in it, white label included. The rate is graduated, so adding a client only ever adds its own marginal cost — $67 at 5, $164.50 at 15, $282 at 30.
Native connectors
16
Including Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Business Profile, Local Services Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads and LinkedIn through their own APIs. Anything rarer comes through a bridge that runs on your own Windsor.ai key — their subscription, not ours.
Free trial
14 days
Card up front, cancel inside the trial and you are not billed at all. Long enough to build one real client report and send it.
