AgencyAnalytics charges for the rank tracker. We charge for the report.

The short answer
When AgencyAnalytics is the right call, and when it is not
This is the closest like-for-like comparison on the site. We come out cheaper on published rates, so the rows that decide it are the ones we lose.
Stay on AgencyAnalytics if
- You need something to MEASURE keyword positions rather than report them. Their rank tracker does that. Ours reads a workbook somebody else fills in, and if nobody is filling one in, we have nothing to show.
- You value catalogue breadth. They list 85+ integrations against our 16 native connectors and a bridge for the rest.
- You want to try it without handing over a card. Their trial does not ask for one; ours does, and refunds nothing you were never charged.
- You are already on their annual plan. Nothing on this page is worth breaking a commitment you have paid for — read it again at renewal.
- You want one flat number per client that never changes shape. A graduated ladder is genuinely more to explain to a business partner than $20 × clients.
Move to Reports if
- You are past ten clients. Our ladder is graduated, so the marginal client costs less than the last one and the effective rate keeps falling — no cliff, no renegotiation.
- Your reports carry SEO as well as ads and the tracked keyword count is in the thousands. Their rank tracking is metered per 500 keywords; ours reads the workbook your SEO vendor already produces at no extra charge.
- You want AI visibility — ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews — in the report without buying credits for it.
- You want the report to say where the quarter lands rather than where the month went, with every modelled figure badged as modelled instead of blended silently into the total.
- You bill month to month and will not sign a year to get an advertised rate.
- You want a client's paid search, SEO and site care on separate pages of one report, each scoped to its own data sources.

Fourteen rows, and the ones they win are the ones to weigh
Every row is either a published figure from their own pages, cited and dated below, or something checkable in our product. Where we could not establish a fact about AgencyAnalytics, the row says so rather than guessing in our favour.

The arithmetic
The same twenty-five clients, on both published price lists
Built only from rates each of us publishes, and using their cheaper annual figure rather than their month-to-month one.
The agency
A twenty-five client home-services agency in the US. Every client gets paid search and Local Services Ads. Eighteen of them buy SEO, with 4,000 keywords tracked between them, and AI visibility is reported for the biggest six.
Reports
- First 3 clients3 × $15
- $45
- Clients 4–107 × $11
- $77
- Clients 11–2515 × $8.50
- $127.50
- White label and your own domainin the price
- $0
- Keyword positions and AI visibilityimported from your SEO vendor's workbook
- $0
Billed monthly with no commitment. The ladder is graduated, so this works out at $9.98 a client — and the twenty-sixth client would add $6.50, not the average.
AgencyAnalytics
- Client reports25 × $20, billed annually
- $500
- White labelincluded at the one rate
- $0
- Rank Tracker4,000 keywords = 8 × $41.67
- $333.36
- AI Tracker1,000 credits = 4 × $20.83
- $83.32
All four figures are their published annual-billing rates, which is the cheaper of the two they offer. The client rate assumes the one-year plan.
What this arithmetic assumes
- Their $20 per client is the rate billed annually, on a one-year plan — the cheaper of their two. Ours is a monthly rate with no commitment, so the two totals are not commitment-equivalent and the comparison is deliberately generous to them.
- Their Rank Tracker is $41.67 a month per 500 keywords, so 4,000 tracked keywords is eight blocks.
- Their AI Tracker is $20.83 a month per 250 credits. What a credit buys is not published in terms we could map to clients or prompts, so we have assumed four blocks. If your usage is lower, their total falls.
- Our keyword and AI visibility lines are $0 because they are imported from a workbook your SEO vendor already produces. If you have no such vendor, that line is not free — it is ABSENT, and their rank tracker is doing work ours does not do at any price. That is the single most important sentence on this page.
- Strip both metered add-ons out entirely and the base comparison is still $249.50 against $500, because the ladders are shaped differently rather than because of the add-ons.
Beyond the bill
The differences that are not about money
Price is the least interesting reason to choose a reporting tool, and the easiest for either of us to change. These are the rest.
The quarter, not the fortnight
One report, several audiences
The SEO workbook you already pay for
Local Services Ads from the source
Nothing on the page says our name
Where we would not switch you
From both sides of the report
What agencies say the difference is
Two accounts, on the two things this comparison actually turns on: the monthly rebuild, and whether every lead channel reaches the total.
The monthly rebuild
We were rebuilding the same four dashboards every month and still getting asked where the Local Services leads had gone. Now the report is already standing when we walk into the meeting, and the lead count is the whole lead count.
Counting every channel
The first month it counted both channels, our cost per lead dropped by twenty dollars on paper. Nothing about the marketing had changed — somebody was finally adding it up properly. That is the number we set the budget on.
Straight answers
Questions people ask before they switch
Everything below is answered against AgencyAnalytics's published pricing as read on 15 August 2026.
- Which one is cheaper?
- We are, on published rates, and the gap widens with client count. Our ladder is graduated like tax bands, so 25 client reports come to $249.50 a month — $9.98 each, white label included. The same 25 clients on their flat $20 rate is $500 before either metered add-on. We are comparing against their cheaper annual rate deliberately.
- Then what would make you tell me to stay?
- The rank tracker, mainly. Theirs measures keyword positions; ours only reports positions somebody else measured. If no SEO vendor is producing a ranking workbook for you, their $41.67 per 500 keywords is buying real work that we do not do at any price. Their catalogue is also far larger — 85+ integrations against our 16 native connectors — and their trial takes no card.
- Does Reports have a rank tracker?
- No, and that is a real gap rather than a positioning difference. Reports reads a keyword ranking workbook — the spreadsheet whichever SEO tool or vendor you already use produces — and turns it into position history, movement bins and comparison tables with its own durable history. It does not go and measure a position. If nobody is measuring for you, we cannot invent one.
- Do both support Google Local Services Ads?
- Yes. This is one of the few places in the category where a home-services agency is genuinely well served either way — most of the rest of this market has no Local Services connector at all. Ours pulls leads, charged leads, calls, messages and bookings directly from the Google Ads API.
- Is there an annual contract with Reports?
- No. It is billed monthly and cancellable whenever you like. AgencyAnalytics’ $20 is their annual rate on a one-year plan, which is worth factoring in if your own client list turns over during the year.
- What does moving actually involve?
- Connecting the accounts for one client, building that report, and sending it. Reports has a starter template set and an AI builder that lays out a first draft you then edit, and a finished report can be saved as a template so the next client is minutes rather than an afternoon. Do one client inside the 14-day trial before you move anything else.

Weighing up more than one
Most agencies shortlist three or four. Here is the same treatment for the rest of them.
- Reports vs Data StudioGoogle renamed it back to Data Studio in April 2026. Still free, still everywhere, and still carrying a watermark you are not allowed to remove.
- Reports vs DashThisStraightforward dashboard reporting priced by how many dashboards you keep, with white label included at every tier.
- Reports vs SwydoThe cheapest credible entry point in the category: one flat fee, unlimited clients, priced by connected data source.
- Reports vs DataboxA metrics and goal-tracking product with a free tier and a separate agency price list, aimed as much at in-house teams as at agencies.
- Reports vs Spreadsheets and slidesStill the most common reporting stack in the industry: exports, a spreadsheet, and a deck rebuilt every month.
